IOI’s economical 1394a 3-port hub can be used to combine the signal of two AVT cameras e.g. of the Dolphin, Marlin, Guppy or Oscar range into one signal/cable. Up to three hubs can be cascaded. The bus can be powered via a power plug, if cable power is absent or insufficient. By using any two of the three ports, the device acts as a repeater. Up to three repeaters can be used in series. Four cable segments can be bridged this way.
