轴承的安装方法因轴承类型及配合条件而有所不同。
由于一般多为轴旋转，隐藏内圈于外圈可分别采用过盈配合及间隙配合，而外圈旋转时，则外圈采用过盈配合。
采用过盈配合时的轴承安装方法主要可分为以下几种，详细如下
1、压入安装
压入安装一般利用压力机，也可利用螺栓与螺母，不得已时可利用手锤进行安装
2、热套安装
将轴承在油中加热使其膨胀后在安装在轴上的热套方法，可以使轴承避免不必要的外力，在短时间内完成安装作业。.
加热注意事项
1、一般加热不要超过100摄氏度。
2、不允许轴承接触油槽底部。
轴承使用的注意事项
与一般的机械零件相比，滚动轴承的精度较高，因此使用时也相应的小心谨慎。
1、保持轴承及其周围的清洁
2、使用时仔细认真
若使用时粗心大意给轴承以强烈冲击。会使轴承现伤痕、压痕、断裂等损伤。
3、使用合适的工具
4、注意轴承的防锈
避免在潮湿场所使用，而已为不使汗水粘上，应带上手套。
5、使用者应熟悉轴承
